Yes, that's the rumor and I'm not sure where it started - but I can see where it makes sense. Ta is a Fortune 500 company trading a fraction of it's worth.
I can't see where Obrein and these guys would want to continue opening thier books to the street when their competition doesn't. They have cash to play with and continue to buy up properties - but not a huge chunk of them at a time. They can't dilute again - that'd be the end for the stock.
I think they are probably looking at this saying - this is a great opportunity due to the recession to pick up tons of properties Pennies on the dollar. If you believe the economy is going to continue to improve like it has - and certainly wont be down forever. Maybe now is the time to swing the big lumber.
