It is real, but has no relevance to TA operations. Firstly the cash pay out is around 26mil which ends up being 1.9mil per employee. Let's say they get 1mil after taxes, they probably can not retire and leave considering as bean-counters they are in the middle class and can not retire on that small amount. This just leaves them comfortable while still maintaining their TA job. Chances are they won't need to ask for a raise and would just be happy serving TA.
And if a few leave, there are millions of other unemployed ready to take their seat.
