Certainly, in the short term your timing could have been much better. Hard to see the logic of tripling your short position at these levels. It is possible, but maybe not probable, that the next earnings news could spark another leg down. In the meantime, i think the odds now favor an up move, especially if one looks at the historical trading patterns.
PS I established a long position late Tuesday and yesterday.
Wrongtime - not what you expected today with the market down. Let's see what happens... I harbor no bad feelings toward you. I find it comical that you have become such a frequent posters over the last few weeks bashing TA and posting almost everything in CAPS. Hahaaa. This leads me to believe that you probably have at least a few more alias that you post under on this board and others. Hahaa. Toolbox.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I think shorting a $7 stock that has fallen from $12.50 is a bit silly.
And insider selling is NOWHERE NEAR as predictive as insider buying.
If you have to short something, short the herbalife scam. Short a leveraged inverse ETF not a $7 stock.
Thats you you begging for action. Repeat after me... "My name is Tim and Im an addict".
I think your thinking is utterly simplistic, and your attacks are ad hominen.
Herbalife MAKES MONEY. That "scam" can go on for a very long time....even if you and I both think that multi-level market, of that sort, is "cheap and trashy."
I want to short something that I think is going down in the NEAR TERM....and I think I have found it with TA. The chart looks horrible, with, essentially, a continuous downward movement since the day of the earnings release.
If it was showing the kind of numbers it came out with in the June quarter, and that I expect it to show in the Sept. quarter, a year ago, the stock would be at $4-5. I think we have a good chance of going there by Nov/Dec.
Also, it's funny you should talk about shorting a "scam" like Herbalife. There are characteristics of TA, with its relationship with RMR/HLF that have a similar "putrid caste" to them, no? As many people have been saying for a long time here.
