First, there isn't much to flip anymore, is there? Second, what's BG up to these days? Is he playing in the band full time? Doubt you and he are going to visit CCA prisons in KY anymore, but who knows. Hope you're doing well.
Hello Franklin!! Yup everything is pretty much "flipper out" these days. All us flippers are now clippers (as in coupon) these days as we're not smart enough to do anything else.
Actually I do a lot in the bankruptcy area and have not run across G Investments anywhere in my Edgar travels. I do think they do bought into the the CXW preferred class too, not sure when they cashed out. So it all wasn't a loss for them.
I still own CPV which I was told these was a horrible investment (at $10) by the forementioned.
Glad to hear you're doing well...JP Morgan's new small-cap strategist (well he's also the firm's wireless telecom analyst) recently published two fairly extensive pieces on companies emerging from Chapter 11. Worth a read if u haven't seen it yet.
That's funny about CPV (G's disapproval). U know where that bias came from? DC of course. BG always thought DC walked on water. Ahh so did others down in Nashville, but that isn't the case anymore, sources tell me. Any thoughts on the old Wackenhut? Thanks.
