    CCA Voted down

I'm not sure where things are going with CCA. Their Dickson County, Tennessee, jail proposal went down in flames, and it's close to their HQ in Nashville, a bad sign. Their plans to pick up a new, empty state prison in Kentucky are on hold at best. They haven't had a riot in four months. The stock dropped 2 1/2% today, but I'm not sure why? Anyone else?

    • Lewt me help you as you appear to be an investing neophyte. You see stocks in major uptrends (that means going UP in price) back and fill, (that means go down in price and consolidate) then the gather new momentum to move up in price again, are you still with me? Also you must look at the overall investing climate which has been basically a sideways market. Now, many people who have long term profits at the end of a tax year also like to sell in January to prolong having to pay taxes on those huge profits. You don't appear to be one of those. WEhy don't you look into joining your local Optimist Club and getting a better outlook on things.
