How did the General miss this? CCA also "forgot" to mention on their 10K that the Floyd County Kentucky's 600 bed prison with departing Indiana cons is about to be shuttered, along with North Fork, Prairie, etc. Does the SEC really care if the filing is "reality based?"
That omission is on a par with CCA's claim last time out that they hadn't any escapes from in '02 and '03.
Time for us all to retreat, eh General? Except for those who thought Gallipoli was a good idea.
I read the 10-K - well, not with a magnifying glass, but I skimmed through it - and I found mention of the potential closing of Otter Creek as well as the vacancies in North Fork, Prairie, and Crowley County Colorado for that matter. It's not that hard to find.
I'm looking at the 10K issued on 3/7, and can only find this, regarding current or prospective vacancies: We currently have four correctional facilities, our Northeast Ohio Correctional Center, our North Fork Correctional Facility, our Crowley County Correctional Facility and our Prairie Correctional Facility, which are substantially vacant and provide us with approximately 5,500 available beds.
I did a document scan on the 10K using the terms "Wheelwright," "Otter Creek," and "Floyd County." No hits. Was this revised?
