tt99, the General had returned to Burpelson AFB and had REPEATEDLY attempted, over the span of several hours, to post the contents of message #21837 YESTERDAY. All to no avail, hence, today's "Test." That was a lot of the General's hunt 'n pecking time wasted.
A sign blocking the screen kept responding that posting of the message was precluded by "technical problems" and to try again later.
The General's more recent experiences (over the past year or two) with yahoo message-boards' non-responsiveness has discouraged him from even bringing problems to their attention any more.
He knows y m-b's address by heart (but thanks, anyway). The correspondence file of complaints is pretty thick by now.
