    Bad News!!!

Thanks for joining us with a glitteringly astute
observation. It caused me to reminisce a bit:

    I heard
Doc say once, when questioned on why CCA bid a
certain way (Miss or Ark), that "sometimes it's a matter
of keeping the competition honest". That also could
very well apply to the contracting agency, as you
    point out.

    I also saw him cancel a low-margin,
troubled facility contract because, in his words, "life's
    too short".

He has publicly stated over and
over again that CCA/PZN will not compete on price or
accept situations where standards have to be sacrificed.

It's interesting to note that someone on the WHC
thread is questioning their declining operating margins.
CCA had twice the net margins of any of the publicly
    traded companies.

But you knew all that - I
mention it for those readers here who didn't.

you come back and shine for us again.
