    Statistical trivia re: ADV

Your take on this is interesting but I think your
interpretation of the "American social policy" is a little off
target. But then that may depend on what part of the USA
we're talking about. Most folks will agree to pay for
more prisons as long as they're in somebody else's
neighborhood (i.e. recent news clips out of Wisconsin). Since
the Quaker days in good ole PA, nothing else but
incarceration has lowered the crime rate. Forget about reform,
rehabilitation, reintegration and the other programs which the
social working industry creates to insure their own
existence. And when all the dumb masses (meaning the
uninformed portion of our society which comprises the
largest part) are no longer able to say "yah, but the
economy's good," we will need those 100,000 (and more)
officers Willie claims to have hired. (imho) Anyway, keep
posting here for point/counterpoint debate often keeps
this board interesting and tends to help make watching
this stock somewhat less painful. Best to Ya! G
