    Busy Week Ahead????

What can we expect this week?
    The way I see
it, the BOD approved the Pacific Life agreement on
Thursday, April 6, therefore B/F have until the end of
business on Thursday, April 14 (or prior to the market
opening on Friday) to either withdraw, or equal, or
better the proposed deal with PL. If they withdraw, it
should take the BOD about 1 minute to move on to the
next stage (I said "should" - with this BOD, who
knows). If B/F equals or betters, what happens then? Any
    suggestions flipper, NewMK, le_chacal...?
    Assuming we go
ahead with PL, I assume it must then be submitted to
the SEC, then to the shareholders, then to the
marketplace. Any projected time lines for this
    scenario?
With Pacific Life in the driver's seat, CA should like
it, Wall St. should like it, analysts should like it,
institutions should like it, shareholders should like it
(certainly as opposed to the alternates) - how can the BOD
    not like it?
To me, the key is in this week (5
    business days!).
Am I on the right track? If so, can we
see $5 by the end of the week?
    So many questions,
and what ifs. Please resurrect the Happy Brigade and
let's continue the very positive, informative and
constuctive dialogue we have recently begun to see
    again.
I look forward to the varied views out there. Maybe
we can come up with a fairly accurate
    consensus.
    Have a great week!
