HEADLINE: Prisoner missing from work crew
A man who was jailed for failure to pay court costs walked away from a county
inmate work crew Monday morning.
Authorities were searching for Richard Dean Gilbert, 42.
Chris Howard, a spokesman for the Tulsa Jail, said Corrections Corporation of
America was notified about 9:15 a.m. that Gilbert had walked away from the work
crew between 7:45 and 8 a.m.
Gilbert was in jail for failure to pay court costs and had been ordered to
participate in the Tulsa County Court Services program. During the day, the
inmates are under the supervision of the county officials who run the program.
Kevin Francis, director of Court Services, said Gilbert was wearing an orange
jumpsuit and was in the area of 61st Street and Mingo Road when he walked away.
There you go. Judging other people by your own standards. Whose beatch are you? (I think you probably meant "bitch", but don't know how to spell it. Still using words you learned from your mother, but she couldn't pronounce it, so you can't spell it
You had also expressed a belief that the ACA, acting on the pressure or at least the influence of Don Hutto, grants accreditation to CCA facilities that really don't deserve it. In one of your later posts you mentioned that you were attending the ACA convention.
Do you plan to discuss the awarding of accreditation to the non-deserving with ACA officials? If not, why not? Seems like if you really believe this, you ought to do something about it.
AGAIN you need to read the article a little closer. You will see that the walk away did not occur at the facility or from CCA staff. That inmate was in the physical custody of Tulsa County staff.
Educated comments and suggestions are more than welcomed but your ignorance is tiring.
