    Valuation

How can we get ITIC on somebody's "radar screen"? I own a lot of it and I would very much like to see it double! Spread the word. This company has the growth and profitability of the big title insurers without the goodwill and intangibles on their balance sheets. And housing and refinancing are doing great as interest rates continue to fall. Yet this stock trades at about six times earnings!

Thanks for the tip on this stock from the old garan board. After watching this for a few days and reading up on it it looks like a good long term holding - I bought in this AM - small position while I get more familiar with the stock. I do think there is a risk that Real Estate will tank in the near future if the economy and market don't turn around at some point.

With the market being killed all over there are a number of things to look at right now but I can't say there are many GAN's out there.

      good luck

      • ClackClack: Good to hear from you. I thought we may have lost contact because they shut down the GAN message board. I respected your postings on GAN'S board and what you were able to do in that stock. I don't run across many posters who know what they are talking about. I have very recently become more bullish on ITIC because the interest rates keep going down which will extend and expand the refinancing boom. I am increasing my position in ITIC. Sooner or later the analysts, Value Line and Investors Business Daily will have to raise their ratings for ITIC and the title insurance industry. Good luck.
