You sure found a winner here with this stock. I wish I had held on to the shares I originally bought last Sept. Instead I sold and then ended up buying back in a little higher. I'm putting this one away as a long term holding for now. I am still nervous about the real estate market in general, but this stock just seems so undervalued. I think I'll just add a little to this position along the way if it continues to do well.
I picked up some Oxford a while back also. That unfortunately has been drifting down recently.
ClackClack: Good to hear from you. I am holding on tight to a large position in this stock. So far it has been my big winner. FLXS has been doing pretty good too. I never bought OXM. I had a chance when it was about $20 and I kept hoping it would go a point or so lower but it never did. I have been kicking myself for missing it and ALEX which I was looking at about the same time. I don't think the market is going to have a good year and I don't think rates are going up much very soon. How that affects refinancing, homebuilding and jobs I do not know but title insurance still looks good for a while yet.
pmlljl- I'm only holding a small position here, 200 shares. I've mostly been buying beaten up utilities and independent power producers like TE, XEL, LNT, DUK, MIR and CPN. Has been a wild roller coaster ride this past year.
Still looking for the next Garan.
I think OXM is still worth eyeballing at current prices. It is around book. I added recently close to this price. I'll be happy with 10-20% appreciation per year on it which I think is quite doable. But there's a chance it could do better than that. The Land's End deal with Sears seems to be going well. Has a nice dividend for support too. I'm glad you mentioned it a while back.
