pjv: It is not so much the price that bothers me right now, but my outlook for the economy. Where I live, home prices have gone up about 150% over the past 5 years and gas prices are now about $2.25 per gallon but all the reports say there is almost no inflation. I have learned to be a skeptic.
I think the Fed needs to tighten up in a fairly serious way and that they will over the next two years. If they do, I expect a reaction in almost all markets, particularly real estate and stocks. I could be wrong, I have been before, but over many years I have learned to be patient. I don't want to lose what I have. The last four years have been very prosperous for me.
