I need him to short into my bid.
He (or was it she?) shudders at the thought of any limit order for ITIC, whether buy or sell.
She's cagey, though, and although getting only 300 shares, leaves the other 3308 sh. @41.01 limit.
For dramatic purposes only, the character raises the limit to 41.01 (3608 sh. still since she can't afford 10000).
Just remember that any resemblance between my fictional stories and actual ITIC trading at 40.11 tomorrow is purely coincidental.

I don't travel much these days. And I haven't been past Las Vegas in many moons. I didn't realize where I-15 went beyond Vegas. I hope your bridge isn't in Montana with winter coming on. Do you do the snowbird thing and winter under a bridge in Phoenix?
I'll be watching for ITIC activity tomorrow.
I personally am looking to buy more HORT, a "special situation" based on potential land sales. Its balance sheet looks atrocious, but if the land sales go through, it could begin to look like a real business. But not nearly as solid as ITIC.
As you are no doubt aware, I-15 continues north through Nevada, Utah, Idaho, and Montana, also.
Troll I am not, but sometimes the graffiti under my bridge inspires my writing. Tomorrow one of my fictional characters attempts to buy 3608 sh. of ITIC @40.11/share since he cannot afford 10000.
Pjv:
Do you have DSL service right up to your desk-top computer under the bridge, or do write your posts at the library like I do?
I-15 is in California where I live. If you have to live under a bridge it is smart to live in a state with a warm climate.
I don't want to ask you to identify yourself, but seeing how you said you live under a bridge, could you please assure those of us who care about you, that you are NOT a troll?
I live on a bench in downtown Manhattan's Port Authority bus terminal. Sometimes some smartass claims that my treasured "share certificates" are in fact old copies of the Daily News, but I ignore such sour grapes.
but I still have my creative writing skills even if I'm living under a bridge on I-15 with no $
Therefore, I have decided to continue to entertain various boards with my excellent fictional posts about this short position, that purchase, and other such imaginative things.
Damn, just read this one. Suddenly ALL the cool kids have no money.
