pj:
I haven't seen you post here for a while.
Were you called down to North Carolina to meet with Mr. Fine? Did he offer to pay you greenmail to leave him alone? Did you show him your quilt? Did he want you to make him one? Does he prefer the shredded Enron shares or the shredded Worldcom shares to be used as the batting?
I have so many questions about your relationship with Mr. Fine.
Please let me know if I am "warm" in pursuing this topic, but don't tell me anything if it is "inside information". I may be considering making a buyout offer of my own. That is, a buyout of 1 share.
pmlljl,
If he's in a bad mood, he snarls a lot, and the polar-bear-growl-and-snarl recognition software translates his snarls into orders to sell short.

From the closing ITIC price, it looks like the polar bear was able to get a "bearish" trade past you today. I imagine that you were too sleepy from hauling him to his late-night haunts to stay awake and prevent him from acting out his natural inclination to take the price down. Perhaps you could trade him in for a bull. Don't tell him that I said that.
"Personal assistant" is the title he has bestowed on me. Limo driving is one of my duties. Another is correcting the occasional polar-bear-growl-and-snarl recognition software error in time to prevent erroneous trades.
pj:
So, if I understand what you are saying, is that you are the polar bear's limo driver. Is that correct?
pmlljl,
He frequents clubs that won't let me in the door. I am hardly in a position to "show him the sights."
pj:
Do you take the polar bear out on the town and show him the sights in Las Vegas? I bet he would be the toast of the town at the Palms or Wynn. Maybe he could give Steve Wynn some tips in investing in fine art.
pmlljl,
There is much overhead in having a polar bear trade on my behalf.
His office is a large, well-appointed walk-in freezer. His computer has special heaters on it to prevent it from freezing. It also has polar-bear-growl-and-snarl recognition software to convert his commands into Schwab StreetSmart Pro button clicks. The penguins on which he dines get expensive, too, especially now that we're back in Las Vegas for the "winter".

I am not an animal enthusiast and I have no pets other than an occasional spider or housefly. However, I am partial to your support of the rights of animals to be investors. I think the stock exchanges should be forced to admit all animals to invest, not just bulls and bears. Please advise me about your polar bear's investment record and the strategies he employs. I may want to have him do some day-trading on the short side for me. I think it would be advisable to use a bear to do my shorting because it would take advantage of his natural instincts.
pmlljl,
It is all Top Secret.
pj:
Can you at least tell me if Mr. Fine was impressed with your polar bear?
