Quarterly report

Have you seen the latest quarterly report?
I would have to say that it is very encouraging.
Three cheers for this Fine company. I may have to enter a buy order. Do I need your permission or the polar bears permission?-
The bear growls for a buy order at 39.30 or better. We're visiting his family in Nunavut for the weekend.

What I think means nothing, but the polar bears says, "Strong growl" since it's trading below a very solid book value that is not stuffed with balance sheet fluff like goodwill, intangibles, and penguins. (Please don't tell the bear about the last word.)- 1 Reply to pjv2xyw9dww4b5

Mum is the word regarding the penguins and the bear. You didn't say anything about me being allowed to palce an order, so I am assuming that it is ok. Eek, it is already up about $2. Rats.

I was surprised by how well they did. After LFG's report I expected their numbers to be awful. I wonder how they are picking up agency business in a declining market.

You'd be surprised at the persuasiveness of a snarling polar bear.

It is just my guess, but if you look at the states where they get their business, you do not see California, Nevada, or Arizona. In addition, Florida is relatively minor as is New York. By luck or by choice, they have pretty much avoided the areas where real estate has appreciated too much and where lending was out of hand. Perhaps the good times will continue to roll for ITIC.
