pmlljl, It is with great anticipation that the bear has purchased some MEOH at $9.25. The methanol will be poured into a giant hold on one of the Golden Ocean dry-cargo ships. Then, at midnight on New Year's Eve, which is whenever you want it to be when anchored at the North Pole, a match will be dropped into the hold. The flames shooting up from the hatch will make quite a show--visible from as far out as Mars, we're hoping.
I am disappointed that there will be no clash of the traditional northern lights with the new and improved man made version. I was looking forward to the light show wars when I took my excursion to attend many shareholder meetings. I suppose it is just as well since that kind of activity would be frowned on by the new green Obama administration.
It sounds like you and the bear are planning a modern version of the "northern lights".
My order to buy ITIC at $31 was filled in bits and pieces and I bought the last of it today. I have placed another buy order slightly lower in price. I am trying to provide a service to humanity by providing liquidity to the poor souls who want to sell at low prices to establish tax losses for 2008. I only hope those same people have the decency to buy the stock back from me in March 2009 for $50 per share so that I may provide even more liquidity to tax loss sellers next year.
pmlljl, The bear wants to know just how great a limit he can set without stepping on your toes. He is averse to increasing his position in ITIC, but entering buy order with limits below yours and very slim chances of filling would be therapeutic for him and put him in a good mood, which makes me feel safer.
