Hussmans unhedged performance has been extremely impressive to me. Would have just about tripled value since inception while the s&p had less than a 50% gain. Even in the last 10 years would just about have tripled value, but the hedges have really done a great deal of damage bringing that down to zero. its really too bad
Could've should've would've. Can you imagine in March 2019 when 10 year return data is available for his performance since the bottom? I expect at that point S&P will have a 10 year return of 500% or more and he will be up maybe 10, 15%.
