Terry - something worth knowing about Short positions
As part of your "experienced and successful trader" fantasy you've been pretending to hold a Short position in INSM since $7.81.
On February 8 you posted -
"... short from $7.81 ... Target is 4.80, but I may cover at any time."
On February 11 (today) you posted -
"My target is $4.80 but I may sell at anytime."
An understandable mistake for somebody who has never really held a Short position. To open a Short position one has to borrow shares in order to sell them. To close a Short position (aka "cover" the position) one has to BUY shares in order to replace the shares originally borrowed.
p.s. Spare us the customary response under one of your alternative ids to the effect that we're obsessed with you (or that we resent you making money by shorting INSM). Your Walter Mitty antics occasionally do provide moments of amusement.
Fud, that is a good catch. A short seller might say " I may COVER at any time." A short seller may say "I may BUY at any time." No short seller would make the mistake of saying "I may SELL at any time."
The Lord said " I need somebody heavy, bitter, boring, disconnected from family, and unable to make friends. Somebody willing to sit for many hours spouting lies and posting gibberish. I need somebody that will willingly post, as if he is an expert, about subjects he knows little or nothing about. Somebody able to laugh when others call him a fool....over and over and over."
