    Question about Institutional Holdings

Does anyone know when the institutions need to report their activity from the first quarter?

In addition to the big ones we have heard from already (Barclay's and Vanguard), there is a NEW investor--UBS OCONNOR LLC that purchased 50,700 last quarter. Also, Morgan Stanley added 21,805 to their position.

I am anxious to see if some of the larger holders added or not...FMR, RA Capital, Ayer Capital, and DEER VII

    Thanks

    • Q: What are the filing deadlines for 13F's at the SEC?

A: Reports are filed within 45 days after calendar quarter end with the vast majority of updates occurring near the 45th day of the quarter.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

      • Thanks, IOU. So, that would make it by May 15th. I know I asked that question before but couldn't remember. As our doctor has so bluntly put it occasionally, we are getting older and my wife and I have to resort to putting notes on the kitchen counter to remember to do almost anything important. I don't know about anyone else here, but my wife would certainly NOT let me put a note on the kitchen counter to help me remember this.

        LOL

    • insmhistorian etrade shows each day when holdings are bought or sold and how much each time an Institutional Holdings changes but do not tell who. they show the institutions and how much they own also but you have to print it each day and try to see who made the buy each day. hard to look at it and tell without a paper trail. april has nearly 300,000 shares bought but only about 1700 sales.
