    INSM's R&D planning and the future . . .

WL has laid clear plans for INSM's future. The open marketing positions have been posted on this MB, but the three more important positions have been overlooked. They have a Research Associate and two intern postions that report to a "scientist" who are dedicated to "nanoparticle research." INSM has only one patented nanoparticle covered by IP and they have gotten it as far as final clinical efficacy trials. So where are they going to go next year? This scientist and research team is going to prioritize and formulate new liposomal drug, vaccine, DNA/RNA and other molecular combinations that will meet future clinical needs. The process is simple, make a novel formulation and test for durg concentration in the liposome, stability and compatability for testing in previously used animal models. This is an expensive process, but it represents the true future of INSM beyond the orphan indications of Arikace. The scientist, research associate and two interns represent a $200,000 to $250,000 annual commitment to R&D. INSM would not be committed to this outlay if they did not believe the liposome was the key to other medical advancements.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy
