.....looking out the window in Chicagoland, watching God apply white paint to his canvas again. Also, mindlessly wondering....with all the good news coming out recently, and the institutions buying more of Insmed shares, when can we begin discussing the benefits of a 2-1 or 3-1 stock split?? I'm just trying to plan ahead to having to adjust my "target price".
IMHO a stock split in the order you mentioned is in the cards "if" (1) the stock sp value appreciates considerably, which appears to be clearly a given. And (2) the company needs to grow into a much larger one. The latter is also a given as they really are a small company at the current level of 41 employees, and do not have much in terms of lab/research equipment capital (compared to many other typical medium sized biotechs). Consequently... I have no plans to sell a share till 2018 or so. This is retirement stock IMHO. :)
