Terry. topic deleted ROFLMAO! Is this why?

I was short and made 15% on the sell on the News.Traders always need to be flexible. I expected a sell on the news since I didn't think you would get clarity with the FDA or ruling. What I didnt expect
was the cures . I am long a smaller position and will exit when the short covering momentum ends looking for a 52 week high.YTD 33% on 4 trades -Good Luck
    2009 +330% (Mostly Long)
    2010 - out
    2011 + 150% + - (Mostly short)
    2012 +59%(couple of trades)
2013 +110% both long and short
2014 +37.% both short and long (current trade)

    • Terry, you were quite fortunate to make money off your short position after the news. I suspect many shorts did not cover, thinking the news was a death-warrant for INSM. I'm glad you recognized the "cures" as you call them, and went long just in time for this current leg up. I'm expecting buy-out rumors to start driving the share price, now that Arikayce has proven to treat efficaciously the most difficult NTM patients to cure.

      • Yes Jesse some do not know this gamechanger (kvnmccdd • Mar 26, 2014 "Listened to most of the call...and I pulled the sell trigger and sold ").....but there needs to be more clarity from the FDA on the results. Breakthru OK and the regulatory pathways for both indications are unknowns, and there's your risk. A buyout? sure,I ve always posted Insmed could be a takeover candidate if certain issues have clarity.imho - we are not there yet.
Surfs up! The girls will monitor posts for deletion. Good Luck
