Plexus Corp. beat Wall Street expectations on better-than-expected wireline, networking and medical businesses as well as cost control efforts. Plexus reported earnings of $10.2 million, or 22 cents a share, on net sales of $360.2 million. Analysts on average were expecting Plexus to earn 17 cents a share, excluding items, on revenue of $350.3 million.
