  • We are here but its very quiet out there. I guess we just wait for 2nd Qtr earnings to see if the Company is back on track. DNY employees do not post on this board. Maybe they have been told not to.

    • At least 2 DNY employees that I know of do post
here. Since this is my PC, my connection and my time,
then mgmt's opinions are of no interest whether they
like it or not. Right now there is just not much news
out there. Anyone out there read transcript of Davis
address to web offset group? The guy has got a good handle
on what needs to be done, except for the part about
putting paper mills and printing plants together. I can't
but a $1b mill with a $200m printing plant and make
the numbers work, not to mention the other logistical
considerations like need for timber vs need for major
throughfare access. Not many highways in the
      northwoods

      • I partially agree with you Woody - I am an RRD
employee and sometimes I think Mr. Davis over-simplifies
the printing industry. However, the way he thinks is
good for RRD!!! We as a company (and an industry I
dare say) need to be pushed this hard to think better.
There are many smart people in this company who
recognize we leave alot of money on the table every day and
I believe we are finally going to be forced to do
        something about it. ABOUT TIME!
