i can get out of this stock even. any chance that ivr can go over 21 and stay there since interest rates are so low any thoughts out there??
i want to thank all you guys for feedback, down only about 1500 minus divy, what will happen to stocks like ivr if banks like jpm blow up or are they still to big to fail thanks
I always hope for the best for everyone. I hope you do well. I have used the same stradgy with other stocks and in many cases came out OK. GLTY
I was here before, during (added more), and after. I feel they will continue to pay well. Invesco, the parent company, manages between 600 - 700 billion. The last two dollars will be back in the next 2 quarters. GLTA
I'm with you but I don't see it ever going that high unless the div returns to .80-1.00.
Your only chance at break even is to make up the loss with dividends or picking other stocks for a buck or two profit.
Did you put all your money in ivr?
elstockjock i agree with you and just sold at 18 plus, didnt lose much with div and thanks for the advise
PPS has nothing to do with payout. Payout only effects it by +/-10%. If you want price to go back to $21 then the only way is to increase BV. Basically what would need to happen is that they keep calling hedges correctly while making good spreads from their main business. Recall that most of the losses that took place were due to hedging so what you are seeing now is a hedge correction as many expected to see happen. As BV climbs the chance to make more payout increases but they dont have to lever so it doesnt always increase yields but you will note that where the BV goes the PPS always goes with it.
