Scotch has been right all along.MRV is in the sweet spot, not just for FTTP, but also the up and coming Metro Ethernet market. That market is ramping in Europe and has even started in the US.MRV's slide presentation shows worldwide Metro Ethernet sales expected to increase from $2 billion to $7 billion in the next 3-4 years. It's no wonder that MRV has not melted down in the past few weeks, like its other brethren in optical component sales: JDSU, AVNX, FNSR and BKHM.
Oops, correction. Metro Ethernet sales in US has not started yet, but is about to.
Thanks, Norm. If I could just get my wife and kids to recognize that fact! ;-) As for metro ethernet, did anyone catch Noam's answer regarding BLS and metro ethernet? That could be significant.
