    Kitimat vs Sabine Pass

I've been following the developments regarding Sabine Pass for some time and while I realize the huge potential of the project, I'm equally concerned that the U.S. Government will fail to get behind nat gas as a means of energy independence and lucrative export (or even get in the way).
So, I'm now considering Canada's Kitimat LNG projects for a long-term play.
Regardless of how and when Sabine Pass pans out, I'm curious what some of you think about the players involved north of the border.
Royal Dutch Shell has teamed with three Asian partners and has a 40% stake in their LNG export project while Apache, EOG, and Encana have partnered in a slightly smaller venture that may actually come on-line prior to Shell's.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the merits of Kitimat vs Sabine Pass in general and which of the four companies (RDSA, APA, EOG, ECA) stands to benefit most from a successful facility/operation build-out and which would best withstand blockage or relative failure of the project?
    Thanks in advance.
