Srongly, and respecfully disagree. Advent of nat gas vehicles, electric vehicles, 40 mpg and over are trends not going Away. Shale oil is a worldwide resource. APA to double in three years? It makes a nice pipedream, but very, very, unrealistic due to the trends ive previosly mentioned. good luck

    • 1)APA is in a great position to take advantage of nat gas moves, if fracking is allowed to continue the way it has been. 2) being that the price of oil is manipulated (as is any other commodity, stock, bond, product.....etc....) I doubt the "cartel" will continue with low prices for more than 6-12mos....They need their yachts and gifts for their concubines. 3)the other countries getting into shale extraction will need existing technolgy and hand holding, which will be provided by the big boys.4) who wants to do business with the Russians. 5) it is a matter of time b 4 we start to export. it is cheaper for China and India to buy than to drill.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Hard to argue with someone that spent a couple of days over Thanksgiving reading up on the industry. Go get 'em Daniel Yeargin.

    • we go again. That will apply in a decade from now. You will not be in earth !

    • WSJ, Dec 3: Firms Hit Hurdles Trying to Replicate U.S. Success Abroad

"Among the reasons for the glacial pace abroad are government ownership of mineral rights, environmental concerns and a lack of infrastructure to drill and transport gas and oil. In addition, much less is known about the geology in most foreign countries than in the U.S., where drilling activity has been going on for more than a century."
