No one is being critical of PVA for the false hype on the Pearsall well.
No one else is having much success in the Pearsall.
The PVA well was actually a minimal effort in terms of cost and with a short lateral. The company may have gained good information for future Pearsall drilling -- so it is not a bad outcome.
The oil flow was like 140 barrels per day but there was significant gas -- so not a terrible result.
I think we are learning that PVA is a very good operator.
(With good production numbers and eight-year drilling window in the EF, they still could be snapped up by a MRO, for example). at maybe $9-10 a share.
I am kind of new to PVA holdings, but can anybody tell me about PVA's coal part of the business? Didn't they own/managed some coal mines? Are they still in that sector as well as gas & oil? Thanks in advance.
