Steak ‘n Shake opens in Athens, GA Today

The Athens location of Steak ‘n Shake opens today with the University of Georgia Redcoat Band and a local minister among those ushering the celebration.
The ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Broad Street near King Avenue location. It will open to customers after the ceremony.
“I’ve always had a fondness for Athens, so I’m just glad to be back,” franchise owner Wayne Robinson, a UGA alum, said earlier this week.
