**The key to controlling healthcare costs is controlling physicians and their powerful lobby, the AMA. In addition, our healthcare system is so dated and mis-managed that the inefficiencies are out of control. Instead of spending carzy amounts of money on new medical technologies, we need to invest in technology for managing data and modernizing our health care system. The investment in medical technology has not improved our quality it has only contributed to the rising cost of healthcare.
