    No help from HUM .....

UNH hits the numbers quarter after quarter. The rest of the sector is a mixed bag of hit or miss....
UNH hit every note, eps, revenue, positive reserve development....
The fact that they have a $300 million dollar rebate set aside From 2011 shows the pricing power that they are holding in reserve.
We may suffer with HUM today but I think UNH's qualities will shine through.
I hope that HUM's meager dividend pop doesn't set the tone for HMO dividends... I'm hoping for 4 cent+ pop from UNH.
The other thing that is different about HUM is that rather than running a buy back (like WLP and AET at 40% of the float over the past 5 years or UNH at almost 30% of the company bought back) HUM is slowly increasing it's float.

    • Hopefully this will draw some HUM money over to UNH. UNH IMHO has been executing betting than any others in this group in the past few years, even if sometimes its P/E expansion potential doesn't appear as attractive.

If someone is not paying these morons to write the stuff then the schools are as bad as imagined. Read this and tell me his agenda. "Humana Inc reported Q1 EPS of $1.49 $0.04 worse then the analyst estimate of 1.53. Revenue for the quarter came in at 10.22 billion versus consensus estimate of 10.08 billion. So tell me, why is it reported as worse on the eps and only versus on the revenue. This moron didnt write "worse" for the earnings and "better" for the revenue. I dont get it. Only someone with an agenda can write stuff this stupid.
