Only CYPH can move 15% without a single word of news. What are the latest rumors?? Or, is it time for profit takers to take the money and run again because tomorrow is Friday again?
Can they just PLEEEZE sign the deal and get it over with!! I lose about a gallon of sweat over this stock every week.
I don't know why the current 13D's were filed but it is interesting that the number of shares indicated in the 13D's match
up with the number of shares indicated as being owned in a SB-2A that was filed on 7/25/96. This filing can be accessed at the
Free Edgar site. Janseen & Meyers Associates were shown as owning 1,689,500 shares in the SB-2A and the 13D filed on 3/27/98 .
Meyers was indicated as owning 849,500 shares in the SB-2A and in the 13D filed on 3/26/98. Jenseen was shown as owning 840,000
shares in the SB-2A and in the 13D filed on 3/27/98. Again I don't know if there is a requirement to report something that had been
previously reported, but I question whether these are new buys.
2 13D Filings today by jansen-meyer assoc -one says 22.8 % (1,689,500) of shares of CYPH acquired -- the other same people says 10.8 % acquired. also one yesterday for same party. it is a new york limited partnership. i am confused by the multiple filings.
See my post 109: in short, CYPH has the technology to make Taxol at a fraction of the present cost. By adopting this technology, BMY or anyone else who wants to sell Taxol can dramatically increase their profit margin.
BTW, MS Investor just gave me an alert, that someone filed with SEC yesterday due to a large acquisition (>5%). Anyone who knows more please share the info. Thanks.
I posted this several days ago; no one responded to it. Can anyone share with me their views?
I read the article in Forbes on paxol. I was concerned that Bristol could stretch the tied up use of the drug for many years -- and they seem to be effectively holding off competitors with the blessing on the FDA. What incentive does Bristol have to do a deal with CYPH? What incentive does a competitor to Bristol have to do a deal with CYPH when Bristol continues to control the pipeline with the blessing of the FDA?
