Could be enormous if you are affected by "buy/hope/hold disease". It is much less important to be able to sell with small loss than to hold under performer for long period of time. I don't now exactly what's behind this kind of mindset but I used to know it.I happened to be one of those people until I discovered three principles:never buy/hold second best, never end your research in finding the best one and never hesitate to sell your under performer. This is particularly true if you have most or all eggs in one basket. Several years ago somebody on this message board said:I constantly move from stock to stock hoping to find my next 10 bagger. This was a revolutionary concept for me at the time, but no longer is. So whether you bought UTSI 3,5,10 years ago it should have been obvious to you that UTSI has lost it's competitive edge long time ago and "new UTSI" will never occupy the same spot. While wishing all "old-timers" the best and keeping one eye on UTSI I have my money betting on different horses at this time. jp
You are VERY smart individual. Can you please tell us how well you did the past few years in this great BULL market?
Are you the sharp individual that put 90% of his money into a company call VG. Watched it goes from 2 up to 5 and back below 2? During the time keeps averaging down? I need to learn from you. Please give me recommendation such as ALVR, PRXM, VG, etc. Buffet was not a trader. He's a buy and hold guy, remember? So how long you plan to hold on your VG?
"So how long you plan to hold on your VG?".There is no reason why VG can't get to IPO level in next two-three years, assuming S@P500 brakes through and moves past 1600 level. Lost small amount on PRXM and made on ALVR options. You sound like someone I put on ignore while back. Tell me what I can learn from you, assuming you are not bity. jp
