Chartny? Factoids? StlBeerman? Where'd You Go?

Does anyone know of any other active ETP boards where these guys may have gone? Maybe there just hasn't been much for these guys to discuss, but their excellent posts used to appear so frequently that I have to think they went somewhere else during Yahoo's debacle of a transition to the new board format.

    Thanks.

"can you recommend adding one mlp that you most favor at this time. thanks"

I own KMP, ETP, EPD, APL, PAA, MMP.

If I needed to add I would likely add BPL.

It is one that has increased dist. over time, but is behind the crowd year to date. +1.83% and yield 7.18% at today's price.

Compare to BWP which is up 50% this year and ETP which is up 36%, they are a bit too far, too fast in my op.

As I see it, for long term low risk, pipelines over 5 years old and increasing distributions faster than inflation, I find my 6 + BPL.

      But others have different ideas.

      Happy investing.

I have all the MLP's I need for now. I am just letting then ride.

I swing trade some and post my systems and results here.

It is a monitored, join up group.

We swing trade funds. I share my system.
So far this year, 16 complete cycles, 75% right on the long side, 94% right on the inverse side.

Not for most investors though. Fun for me as it is a real challenge.

      Happy investing.

Glad to see all of you are still around. Your rhythm system is very interesting. I, too, am a fan of statistical market trend analysis, though I don't have the time I would like to commit to it. I'm studying your Excel sheets and will let you know if I'm able to offer any suggestions. One problem I've had in the past, though is finding the raw market data I want in a format that is readily importable to Excel. Have you found a good source that is suitable?

        Thanks.

      • Sorry to disagree about Investor Village. Even less discussion there.

The reality right now is there is little MLP news. We are between earnings and distribution announcements and with the prices for acquisitions rising too high little on that front either. Factoids is still posting and I will when there is something to say. After the first week in October there will be plenty of news and postings will resume.
