  • The K-1 wqas avaiolable several WEEKS ago at www.k1support.com. It itakes about 5 minutes to enter the data into TurboTax. Whuining is not necessary, but a bit of DD would be appropriate. Definately worth those 5 minutes to enter the data yourself and eliminate that unnecessary accountant.

There are several items on Box 13 and Box 20 that do not import into TurboTax. On Box 13, it lists a T1/T2/T3/T4/T5 with $ values for each and on Box 20 it lists a X1/X2/X3 with $ values for each.

Turbo Tax only allows you to manually enter a T on Box 13 and a X on Box 20.

I've called both Turbo Tax and the Tax Package Support folks about this and have received the dreaded "You will need to contact a Tax Professional" answer to my question.

How has everyone else handled this issue?

      Thanks in advance.

      • Box 13T is Domestic Activity Production info - not worth inputting in my opinion; same with Box 20X which is UBTI receipts info. If you're bound and determined to do it, assuming you've input the basic K1 data or imported it, then

        1. Go to Form view
        2. Open the K1 for ETP and go to Box 13 in Part III
        3. Click on the first open line in Box 13 on the form and select T from the dropdown. Then click on the Quick Zoom button immediately below to enter addtl info for codes R,T and W and have at it.
        4. Do the same steps for Box 20X.
