ETP is planning to sell 7,500,000 in new Units (plus an over allotment of 1,200,000 additional Units if exercised by underwriters) soon. Typically, buyers negotiate a lower than market price for new Units. When the transaction is complete (hopefully in the next day or two), the price will begin to return to the pre offering price. The recovery may take some time or be very quick.
In any event, new Units (along with new debt issuances) are the funding for growth capex. This is very good for long term holders.
