It seems that the secondary has pretty much well qwelled the typical run-up in price prior to the ex-date on ETP. From the bottom to close of yesterday, it's only an increase of 10%...not a very good increase. I'd expect we head closer to $50 by year-end, IF earnings go as planned and nothing crazy happens on a macro level.
Of course, a distribution incease would REALLY help this stock skyrocket...WHENEVER that is supposed to happen?
Yes, whenever there appears to be some upward momentum, selling comes in and pushes the price back down to the trading range. While the company has closed out the SPO, it appears (just a guess) that either brokers or individuals were waiting for near x date to unload shares. Not that the volumes are high, just selling, so far at least, occurs at approximately 45.90.
