Question for anyone who has held for at least 1 year and Swank rebalancing on Fr

Not sure if or how this might affect the price, but this along with wpz have been two of the weakest MLPS in the Swank index. All mlps get adjusted to 3.3% of the fund, I would think they would have to sell some their top performers, add this and wpz. Curious if you have noticed any spike when they have rebalanced in past quarters, or has it been a historic non event??? Paa and mmp are likely the two best performers in the fund this quarter. Thoughts???

    • A non event because the amount of the rebalance is usually under 20K units. Not hard to do that in a couple of market sessions and not disrupt anything.

Thanks for the info, both etp and wpz moved up the day they announced it which got me wondering if it would create a buying opportunity or not. These MLP pricing will not firm up until the just prior to distributions, 3-4 more weeks of weakness I think.

I anticipate the buying opportunity of the year when the sun deal closes and some sun holders dump. I will be there with open greedy arms. 2013 should by a big year for etp unit price.
