Pricewise it hasn't move either. Don't know about the future but it is at the bottom of the list for distributions and price appreciation performance among MLP's
"Pricewise it hasn't moved either." Did you miss $51 a share not so long ago? I took some profits at $51 and bought some back at $41. AND I'm making 8% on the distributions. You have an ice cream cone in each hand and you are complaining?
It was underperforming due to the merger. Now that the uncertainty has been removed, it's begun to appreciate and may "catch up" to the other MLPs like PAA and MWE which have appreciated quite a bit (and consequently seen their yields decrease).
Try looking at a 5 or 6 year chart and INCLUDE the distributions. ETP is up about 45% compared to much less for the S&P. Also there was not one merger but two - SUG and SUN as well as the multibillion $ sale of the propane business to APU. As remember the buy of SUN included controlling interest in SXL!
