For those participating in the company's discount drip plan, the purchase price is 95% of the average of the highs and lows on the 5 trading days immediately preceding the pay date, which is 11/14. Thus, the computation period begins with 11/7 and ends with 11/13.
On the pay date I will post my usual thread polling for which brokers post the drip faster and which do not participate or do not participate without being asked by the client. ETP holders at Etrade, Vanguard and Schwab, pay attention. You may be paying more for drip shares than you could at a different broker.
Nothing new. Some participate and others do not. If getting a doscount is important then Schwab holders need to contact Schwab NOW at tell them to include or close their account. Other simply do not and will not participate. I closed my Schwab account over this exact issue. The $$ difference is not huge, but it is the principle.
Schwab does participate, I have been in the etp sponsored drip for almost a year now. You do have to ask for it, and be sure to differentiate it from the regular schwab drip. Seems that not all of the schwab telephone people know about their own program to enroll in a number of company sponsored drips.
