18.5% if I figure in the 8.5% divi for the first year:-)
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Why not figure in 2 years distro, or even 5 years and say you're already up 100%?
Or you might not count chickens till they are hatched.
Don't hate me just for making money. Besides, 5 years of divi's at the yield for my buy-in price would only be 42.5% Not 90%
Liza - I'm really up about 65%, but again I bought in 2009! Also posted a question on the MMLP board for you. Thanks.
I can only assume your using options because this dog according to the Fidelity site is down over -3% prior 52 weeks
Morningstar shows YTD 1.43% for 2012 and 5.59% YTD 2013 Morningstar numbers usually include dividend distributions like most YTD figures. but your up 18.5%?
Sentiment: Strong Sell
I think you misunderstood him.
He is not quoting his trailing twelve month performance but his forward 12 month performance.
He's giving you his gain as of end 2013/early 2014.
Nothing could go wrong, of course.
It all depends on when you bought. ETP has not moved over the last year for good reasons. The big fact is NEITHER DID MOST MLPs. The MLP universe was dead last year. Everything has now started to move again. Some of the better and strongest MLPs - EPD, KMP - take a look at their 52 week numbers. Stars like those do not go straight up.
