He mentioned this yesterday. Time to buy. I think he's really wrong on this one. ETP is just beginning to transition after the numerous acquisitions. We shall see in about a year. Meanwhile I'll continue to collect my 13% annual return through the dividend and DRIP.
Cramer's an idiot. I can't tell you how many times he's been wrong.
He typically will tell people to BUY BUY BUY at HIGHS and SELL SELL SELL at LOWS.
Anyone listening and trading according to what he said would be bankrupt now, guaranteed
My CPA askes me why I bought into ETP as it was one of the MLP's worst performers. My answer was: "that's why". If the present management team can show improvement in the business model, the distributions will increase along with the pps. If they don't have the ability, the bod will replace them by a management team who can. Patience.
Sentiment: Hold
Funny thing about stocks like ETP....All the good stuff always seems to be a year away.....Still waiting after 3 years
I'm frustrated with their refusal to raise the div as well. Unlike Cramer though, I'm going to give it at least until the next conf call before I make a decision on selling or not.
Cramer is for those who can't figure out if they are diversified without someone explaining it to them. Cramer has been wrong plenty of times. And besides, he doesn't dislike ETP. There are just other players in the space he likes more.
Sentiment: Buy
I disagree. Cramer has been constantly blasting ETP in the past year. He got angry with the last stock offering and has blasted the CEO threatening to put him on the wall of shame. And when the dividend wasn't raised, he finally sold his entire position in his trust. He stated the stock was going "nowhere" and was done with ETP.
