I asked that same question on another board. It can't be all the corporate shuffling. The chart has started to go parabolic and the RSI is way overbought. Things never grow to the sky. I'm thinking of taking my profit.
Yes, it tends to run up, though not this high before, and then sell off suddenly. I sold out of the money covered calls that are now well in the money, but I suspect a lot of people are sitting on some decent paper profits right now. When the move to the exit starts it could turn into a stampede.
Glad someone is paying attention. For the last 6 or 7 years it could never get above 45-47; now it is making all time highs. Maybe ETE's time has come. Jump in.. the water's fine! Maybe the fact that Cramer finally dislikes ETP had something to do with it.
I wouldn't advise people to jump in right now. I like ETE and am long, but it's run too far too fast. It will run out of new buyers to life the price much more. If you want to own it, wait for a better entry price.
