made the mistake of entering and exiting this in a trade last year , now i get a k1 ..everything on my k1 ia all zero's except capital contributed $1330and withdrawalsand distributions $1330. supplemental statement is all zeros. What do i do for tax reporting on this ?
Well, you answered one thing I always wondered about...whether shorting an MLP results in a K-1.
But I wonder what happens if you short over a longer period or through a distribution...would you get a K-1 which is sort of the inverse of a normal K-1 (all signs reversed)?
