Today wasn't too late, but I sold anyway. I'm worried that i'll be down twice as much as the div and be
stuck in this for a week after. Looks like sell in may is starting. I feel more comfortable in AWK, utility
or consumer staple in case of a big drop.
Just a note concerning NYCB , check the chatter on the growth strategy with a merger or acquisition, the jest of it : if the Bank gets over $50B, our Federal Government is more involved, and the Dividend may be cut ... may I suggest you look at PGF (a Bank Preferred stock ETF) or PCEF (a Closed Mutual Fund ETF) ... pretty safe alternatives ... I moved a little out of NYCB to diversify and satisfy my paranoia nature ... ETP is good too, I do believe we're within a Quarter or 2 of a distribution bump
