    New acquisitions

are what I worry about. I understand the ambitions of management to look for new opportunities to grow NOVC but I think they need to resolve problems with Advent and nurture growth with CC & SL before they take on another enterprise.
It will be interesting to see the reaction on Monday. I think we will have more of the same with a bias to the downside, however, the elimination of Mango should be viewed as a longer term positive. I agree with Waveb that (real) earnings are needed to see significant moves to the upside.

    • medrep...I tend to agree with most of what you said, but if one were to exclude the losses at Mango and Advent, Novation would have had real earnings. Maybe one of our accountng guru's could break that out for us, along with how much additional cash NOVC would have had on its balance sheet.

And as for Mango shuttering its doors, yes, I thought like management did that it had a whole lot of potential, but guess what?.....They weren't able to successfully execute their plan.....a crime?....of course NOT. A mistake?....maybe, but I still believe the idea and concept of usung "excess capacity" in the moving industry to move Americans cheaper ( a lot cheaper) is still a viable business model.

Finally, I like the FACT that Novation and its managemnt are swinging for the fences. The way I look at it, Mango was just a swing and a miss in the first inning of Novations comeback.

Watch the CASH my friends....in another post I'll be copying and pasting Novations liquidity statements straight from their 10K's so you can compare 2012's year end to 2011's.
