Finally a person who just tells the truth. I applaud you statement. Problem is, and I have been saying it for some time...AmeriGas has taken on an enormous amount of debt. The units dropped over $4.00 in a week. Have rebounded about a buck. Their upcoming 1st quater earning should come in off 30 + million to budget. January has them another 30 million off before expenses. If this trend continues, they will end fiscal 2012 50-60 million short of budget. HOW can they pay down their debt and still give these great dividends??? I have also stated that another class action suit lirks in the future. Can they sustain all these negative actions?? I truly doubt it..So just beware and keep a close watch....They will try to muddy the waters with the Heritage deal, but at the end of the day it's all about the bottom line.
I'm a former commercial credit analyst. Commercial credit and personal credit are different...i.e. not like a mortgage where dollar incomes/expenses have to match. It is more about resources and FGP and APU both have deep pockets.
